~Action Painting with Life Skills~

During my student teaching, I had the opportunity to teach a life skills class. I has six students with a wide range of disabilities, so finding a lesson they could all do, and succeed at was not easy. I decided to teach them about Jackson Pollock and Action Painting. I had the students use ketchup bottles, to mimic how Pollock applied paint to his paintings. My students had a wonderful time with this, and I was very proud of how they excelled with this project.
